To Attach a Design to a Work Request
An attached design is the one you have selected as the best solution for implementation. If you change your mind, you can detach this design and attach another one at any time before submitting the work request for construction. A work request cannot have more than one attached design.
The Attach Design command opens the Available Work Requests dialog box. With this dialog box, you can select the work request to which to which you want to attach the current design.
- From the list of designs in the My Designs view, select the design that you want to attach to a particular work request.
- From the Actions menu, choose Attach Design to open the Available Work Requests dialog box. Or right-click the design and choose Attach from the shortcut menu.
- From the list of work requests, select the one to which you want to attach the current design and click OK. Note: Attaching a design to a work request removes the work request from the list of available items. Note: If the work request already has an attached design, you must detach the design before attaching a different one.
